Bita Zareian

M.A.

Bita is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She obtained an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from UBC in 2020, a B.A. in Psychology from UBC in 2018, and a Pharm.D in Pharmacy from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2014.

 

Bita’s research focuses on exploring the biological and cognitive factors that contribute to increased risk of depression in adolescents. Clinically, she has experience providing evidence-based treatments for problems related to mood, anxiety, anger, OCD, and PTSD.

 

In her free time, Bita enjoys playing the piano, painting and baking.
