Victoria Wardell

M.A.

Victoria is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She obtain an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from UBC in 2023 and a B.A.Hons in Psychology from UBC in 2021.

Victoria’s research focuses on understanding how past negative experiences inform present behaviours and mental health. Clinically, she has experience providing evidence-based treatments for problems related to mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.

Victoria is completing a one year practicum with the DBT Centre where she will specialize in providing comprehensive DBT and working with people who struggle with borderline personality disorder, non-suicidal self-injury (cutting, burning, etc), as well as chronic suicidal ideation and behaviour.

Victoria is available Mondays (Zoom only) and Tuesdays for in-person or Zoom sessions. She is not available for evening or weekend appointments.

In her free time, Victoria enjoys playing soccer, reading, and walking her dog.
