Angie Ji

Psy.D., R.Psych.

Dr. Angie Ji is a registered psychologist in British Columbia (#2499). She received her Doctor of Psychology degree from Adler University. Dr. Ji completed a CPA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in Ontario with a focus on health psychology in hospital and community health settings. Her rotations included training in inpatient psychiatry and adult neuropsychology. Dr. Ji served as a psychologist in outpatient healthcare services for three years at Richmond Hospital in the Short-Term Assessment Treatment program co-facilitating groups for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and providing individual therapy for anxiety and depressive disorders. She is currently a psychologist at the Transitional Pain Clinic at Vancouver General Hospital.

Dr. Ji uses DBT, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support her clients. She tailors her approach to the unique needs of each individual by drawing on techniques from evidence-based practices, including self-compassion and emotion-focused approaches. In addition to supporting adults with complex emotional problems, Dr. Ji’s areas of practice include pain management, depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, and borderline personality disorder.

Her interests include playing piano, hiking, and experimenting with new recipes.
