Matt is a clinical psychology student at Simon Fraser University (SFU). He completed his B.A. (Honours First Class with Distinction) at SFU in 2014. Matt recently successfully defended his master’s thesis and will soon be starting the Ph.D. program. He has been awarded the Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships Doctoral Award by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research for his work on the role of emotion in the relationship between personality and behaviour. In his free time, Matt enjoys running, watching movies, and spending time with his partner and family.
