Anita Hibbert


Ms. Hibbert received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of British Columbia. She is currently in the final stages of completing her Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. E. David Klonsky, and her research focuses on how affective states can influence one’s self-concept. Ms. Hibbert has trained in a variety of clinical settings, including the UBC Psychology Clinic, Vancouver General Hospital’s Concurrent Disorders Intervention Unit, and Delta’s Child and Youth Mental Health. She has worked with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, disordered eating, suicidality and self-injury. In her spare time, Ms. Hibbert enjoys dancing, playing music with friends, and taking advantage of the abundance of sushi restaurants in the lower mainland.
