Attendance and CE Credits

The DBT Centre of Vancouver is approved by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) as a provider of continuing education activities. Attendees will receive a certificate confirming attendance for 36 Continuing Educcation (CE) credits. The number of CE credit hours are awarded at the end of the course and are based on the hours attended. We recommend participants to defer registration if they know they will be away for more than one class (3 CE credits per class). Typically, we are able to offer a spring and fall session each year. Refunds are not available once the class has started.

Who Can Register

As this course is one aspect of ongoing training for other clinicians at the DBT Centre, space is limited, and we can only accommodate 12 participants. Registration will be closed once space has been filled. Mental health professionals (e.g., psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, counsellors, nurses) seeking to gain a better understanding of DBT and useful clinical tools to use in practice are encouraged to register. Due to the level of training in this course, registrants must have at least a Master’s degree in a mental health related field (or be working towards such a degree).
